I’m sorry. I try to ignore these bogus and idiotic statements about Erika Kirk because I realize that most of you all making them are just plain ignorant to the absolute gut wrenching and soul sucking of actual grief. It is a process that you only understand when it happens to you. It’s not the same as losing your parent. Or grand parent. Or even a friend. When you lose your partner in life, after creating a life together, creating children, it’s amplified to an atomic level. The stages of grief do not follow a succinct plan, they come at you in a chaotic mess from every angle, up and down. It doesn’t just end a few months later. Acceptance happens after YEARS of this. Mrs Kirk having to listen to all of you rate her cycles of grief for validity is abhorrent and shows just how low you are all willing to go. When you lose your wife/husband/partner to something uncontrollable, you suffer from a form of PTSD. Having that kind of uncontrolled violence then show up again in your world, just adds to the PTSD. How are you even a human being if you cannot figure that out? So if this happens to you, you think back to your criticism every tjme a clerk at a gas station says “have a nice day” and you want to scream at them for the suggestion because your life is hell. Then after that nugget enters your thoughts, you think of how you’ve criticized this woman for facing her hell publicly. Shame on you.
