This was a blast to do! I’ve submitted my first ever voiceover for an animated series. Applying for 4 parts I’ve shared some of the lines I submitted to the studio. I dabbled with accents including keeping my own natural northern accent to see how that goes down. Nope it isn’t perfect but I’m fairly chuffed with this first attempt with the information I had 😊 Since I’m quite new to voice overs I welcome any comments from those more experienced or within the industry to see how I can improve in future or any tips? I’m not expecting anything from this (but you never know!) it’s a studio I’m certainly keeping an eye on and I think it’s great they have opened auditions to so many! For equipment I was using a backup condenser mic as my main one had broke 😩 ive ordered a replacement. And of course a pop filter and a paupers way of creating a sound proof environment…..the wardrobe!!(hence the video at the very end)🤣 due to moving house I have not yet set up my sound proof panels. I only heard about this open casting the day before I recorded.
