This has the potential to be an incredible appointment. He speaks a lot of sense, from my perspective being from a family where the men tend to go to prison. I hope he gets the full backing in his role to implement the changes we need, it could be a game changer.
Watch this it’s fascinating - I asked James Timpson what he’d do about prisons and sentencing if he was in charge. He believes only a third of prisoners in jail should definitely be there. He’s now in charge of prisons (but not sentencing).

Listened to @BornatRightTime’s Skies We’re Under podcast today, talking about working as a parent/carer when the flex you require is beyond usual expectations. As a disabled person this resonated a lot. We’re recruiting for a Senior Producer, lots of flex: touretteshero.com/2024/05/28…

Because Touretteshero is disabled-led, we would really love disabled, neurodiverse/divergent and chronically ill producers to apply. We’re used to removing barriers within our ways of working, including those relating to energy, pain and clinical vulnerability.
Producer can mean different things in different contexts I think of it as being the person who helps make things happen, doing the organising that turns projects from ideas into reality. We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Producer, is this you? touretteshero.com/2024/05/28…

1/2Attended a @NYTofGB workshop interview where around 12 really amazing and talented directors had 10 mins to share their practice which tbh was impossible and amounted to ball games and rushed warm ups....
