Yesterday 2 loose dogs attacked a cat in our yard. A cat my daughter has loved & cared for for 7 years. She heard the commotion & looked outside to see a dog whipping "her" cat around like a rag doll. She went screaming out of the house into the fray. The cat, w/severe injuries,

after a few min of laying as if dead, managed to get under a bush & then slip through a fence into a neighboring yard & disappear. I cant conceive of it surviving & the idea of it suffering somewhere is near unbearable. It was graphic, bloody, gut wrenching & heart shattering.

I had nightmares. This is probably scarring for all my kids. We lost a pet rabbit very sudden only a few weeks ago, just dropped dead. Im so tired. I feel like a crap parent bc Im not great at validation & emotional support & I'm limited by my 👨🦼. If you pray, we could use it.
