ANAM - An Art Craft Design Heritage installation, is open for all to visit through to 9th July at The Old Forge, Renvyle, Connemara.
Peter Sheehan, designer and creator of the installation, commented: "We must find ways to create, with the materials around us, that connect us with place. To see again, value what we take for granted, what we discard, what’s all around us, hidden in plain sight."
Pictured visiting the installation is Rosemary Steen, CEO,
@dccireland with Peter Sheehan and his sculptural chair 'ANAM Dubh'.
New work is included alongside historic artefacts by Peter Sheehan with contributions by
@JeremyMaddenJM, Joe Hogan, Leila Ní Chathmhaoil, Angela O'Kelly, Cathal Loughnane and Muck Murphy alongside Peter's designs realised by Philip Kenny and Muck Murphy 💥
The installation is entirely funded by Peter Sheehan.
