Some of my favorite memories from my last relationship where the end of the night. Both of us dozing on the couch, I would get up, reposition her, tuck her in, turn off the lights, and kiss her forehead before leaving.

conflict itself isn’t usually what breaks relationships. it’s the inability/unwillingness to repair - the silence, the avoidance, the deflection and the repeated dismissal of needs.
