@yarratrams sorry to do this, but the north-bound platform at Stop 7: Queen Victoria Market has blood all over it. ‘Snap, Send, Solve’ says bodily fluids are City of Melbourne, but diverts to a phone call, which of course no one is answering at this time of night.

I’ve sent the report through that service, but it’s definitely blood, not rubbish. There’s a bloody sock and bloody debris at the north end, where most trams board, and a trail of blood at the south end of the platform.

I’ve got a photo, which I don’t want to post here, and I’ll call City of Melbourne in the morning, but I wanted to let you know, in case there was anything you could do. Thank you!

@yarratrams could you please make an announcement on tram 2035 about not playing music out loud? Guy sitting opposite me who is scrolling with his sound up and refused my request for him to use headphone.

Guy just got off the tram, at Church Street, but that was about 30 stops with him scrolling with his volume up, and giving me attitude when I asked him not to. So disappointing! So unnecessary!

Really incredibly rude and frustrating!

I know that trams have a timetable, but it’s really frustrating when you wait at the traffic lights for the green signal, and other people just cross to the tram stop on the red light, and then the light turns green, and you walk, and the tram shuts the doors in your face.

So sorry @yarratrams but there’s a big mess on tram 5009, up the back.

Hey @yarratrams I have such a weird report to make - on tram 205, the glass on one of the panels next to the middle door has shifted, making the gap to hold onto the pole very narrow. That’s kind of a strange thing to describe, so I took photos.

Photos attached! I hope that helps explain, and that you can get it fixed.

More from me to @yarratrams, a big gold star to the driver of tram 2010 on route 19 this morning (about 10:45). At Haymarket, he checked with an elderly couple whether they wanted his tram. ‘No, thank you, the 59!’ How great of the driver to check, prepared to wait! So kind!

Hey @yarratrams I think the speaker at stop 19 Royal Children’s Hospital (outbound) is broken, it’s just reciting tram routes and arrival times, and hasn’t stopped for the last 10 minutes. It’s a bit creepy!

Hey @yarratrams, many, many thanks to the thoughtful driver of tram 2124, who could obviously see me walking slowly with a sore back, and who waited till I was seated to leave the stop. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that! So kind of them!

Hi @yarratrams! Would you please pass on my thanks to the driver of tram 2065? I was crossing the road in front of them (at the lights, it was all safe), and they re-opened the doors in case I wanted their tram. So kind!!! I wanted the other route, but I really appreciated that.

Hey @yarratrams can you please ask the driver on tram 179 to keep an eye on the drunk guy up the back?

He’s swearing a lot and talking about demons and threatening people. No one is saying anything to him, hopefully he gets off the tram at Errol steeet, but I think the team driver should know to keep an eye on him.

Everyone is definitely aware of him, and just keeping clear, but it was quite worrying when I was on board (I’ve just gotten off the tram). Phew! I hope it all works out okay.

Hey @yarratrams could you please pass on a gold star ⭐️ from me to the driver of tram 5010? They very kindly re-opened the doors at Queen Vic Market (while facing a red light), and reassured some anxious passengers that their tram would go to Melbourne Central. So kind!

Kudos and respect to Paul Keating , the only living PM who refused to accept an AC because he believed that honours should be reserved for those whose work in the community went unrecognised and that being PM was significant public recognition. Definitely not a cosplay PM.
