Just called a pest control company and got their prices: $129/month for Gold, $89/month for Silver, and $59/month for Bronze (package level was how often they sprayed) Asked them what chemical they used cause I had kids and pets. While on the call, I looked up the exact chemical and ordered a years supply of it for like $100. Told them I'd have to think about it and hung up. I'll spray it myself and save hundreds. Is that unethical? Or just plain smart?

Just came across a streamer of WhatNot selling Pokémon cards. The kid selling them was maybe 10 years old and was with his dad. The dad didnt know a darn thing about cards but he was supporting the hell out of him. Total attendees was maybe 10 people in the stream and he was selling off cards at $1 and $2. They were decent cards. Well worth the money. But he had just started streaming and didnt have the audience needed to pull big nu.bers and he was getting upset. You could visibly see it. So, I bought every one of his cards. Did I lose some money? Yes. But damn he lit up every time it said "sold" on one of his auctions. Well worth it.
