Major Announcement: Jesus Cat Token (JCT) Relaunch on Solana!
On January 7th, 2024 UTC, we are officially relaunching the Jesus Cat Token (JCT) on the Solana blockchain.
This move comes with significant improvements and a fresh start for our beloved token. We have decided to renounce the contract. This means no one owns it, and it cannot be modified in any way. Here's the proof of renouncing the contract etherscan.io/tx/0x97f7866cdf… We want the community to trust that we are committed to the security of JCT. As the Karma contract deployer holds the locked token supply, which is a flag for many, we're taking decisive action. We will burn the entire 83% of the Ethereum supply, and I will post evidence of this as soon as it's done today.
Snapshot & Claiming Your New Tokens We're initiating a snapshot for holders of the Jesus Cat token starting at midnight on December 24, 2023, and then another snapshot on January 4, 2024. Hold onto your JCT through this period! You'll be eligible to connect your ETH wallet and a Solana wallet to our site once the token contract is launched and claim your tokens 1:1 to what you had on ETH.
Bonus for Solana Saga Token Holders As a marketing incentive, 10% of the JCT supply on Solana will go to a saga airdrop incentive. These tokens will be able to be claimed by Solana Saga token holders to bring awareness and put Jesus Cat onto the phones of a network of crypto enthusiasts, some truly influential holders in the @solana community. The remaining tokenomics will stay in effect and we will allocate the largest portion of the supply to fund the staking contract on Solana, where you can stake your Jesus Cat token for a crazy APY on our site following the token launch. We remain dedicated to our community. Though Jesus Cat is heading to the cross on Ethereum, it will rise again 3 days later on Solana to live eternally.
