I think this Fandom suffers from canonizing fan theories.
Link never 'obtains' the Triforce in OoT. Ganon simply says it was hiding within him and Zelda.
GANONDORF is the one who obtains his piece of the Triforce from the Temple of Light in the Sacred Realm.
We theorized as a Fandom that Link (and Zelda before she fled the castle) must have somehow obtained their pieces from there before Ganon did just in the nick of time. But the game never says that. It never hints at it. It just reveals Link has it at the last moment of the game as a cool plot twist.
Link could have just as easily always had the Triforce. Zelda, too. Nintendo never said anything so we filled in the gaps ourselves but that does not make it Canon and it has been one of the biggest issues I have had with this Fandom for decades.

I have been fan theorizing since 2006 and it's all in good fun for me. But so many people take those theories as gospel, cling to them, repeat them over time and get newer fans to believe they are canon. And after 20 years of this, people now can't tell the difference.

No hate to the new voice actors.
But it REALLY sucks that in the West they just view VAs as replaceable for the characters they voiced for YEARS. Erin played as Chie since 2012. And yet all of a sudden she just cant voice Chie in the remake. Meanwhile Japan has the same VA.
