Que Airbus cite a Indra, GMV y Sener de inmediato confirma su peso industrial. España tiene rol sustantivo solo con diseño de sensores y sistemas de misión. Paquetes de trabajo menores no dan soberanía.

Block III with KLJ-7A AESA and PL-15E integration changes the picture. Affordable BVR at scale beats a more advanced platform stuck in production delays.
Is the JF-17 Thunder Pakistan's Greatest Defence Success Story? 🇵🇰🤔 -150 aircraft produced/backbone of the PAF. -manufactured and assembled at PAC Kamra with continuous upgrades from Blk-I to Blk-III. -equipped with the KLJ-7A AESA radar, modern avionics and advanced BVR combat capability. -compatible with PL-15E/PL-10E, SD-10 and a wide range of precision-guided munitions. -one of the most affordable multirole fighters in service today. -high fleet numbers allow PAF to field and sustain larger combat formations compared to relying solely on expensive fighters. While the LCA may offer advantages in certain technical areas and is often considered the more advanced platform, but numbers matter too. JF-17 is fielded in significantly larger numbers, operates across multiple frontline PAF sqns, and has become the backbone of PAF's combat aviation fleet. Meanwhile, Tejas fleet expansion has progressed more slowly than originally planned due to production and procurement delays. What do you think? 👀🤔

Viendo el Ravenstorm en ILA: impresiona. Pero fabricar componentes y poseer la autoridad de diseño son cosas muy distintas.

France telling India 'everything is open' says a lot about FCAS strain. Bilateral deals move faster than trilateral frameworks. EDGE-Indra PULSE proved that.
France has reportedly told India that “everything is open” regarding cooperation on a future sixth-generation fighter programme, including advanced aircraft development and key defence technologies. The opportunity has gained attention as the original FCAS fighter component involving France, Germany, and Spain has faced major challenges, creating space for new international partnerships. A partnership could provide India access to cutting-edge capabilities such as stealth technologies, advanced sensors, next-generation engines, combat-cloud networking, and manned-unmanned teaming concepts. For India, such cooperation could complement the AMCA programme while accelerating the development of future air-combat technologies through technology sharing and industrial collaboration. If discussions advance, India could emerge as a major partner, production hub, and contributor to a future French-led sixth-generation fighter ecosystem. #India #France #FCAS #SixthGenerationFighter #AMCA #DefenceNews #MilitaryAviation #Aerospace #AtmanirbharBharat #FutureWarfare #DefenceTechnology #IndianAirForce

Simple and reliable, exactly what a trainer needs to be. Nothing like seeing these vintage airframes at airshows.
The cute, humble and chubby Buckeye. Flown as an adversary/aggressor of the defunct VF-43. She entered service in 1959, beginning the replacement process of the Lockheed T2V SeaStar, and was itself replaced by the McDonnell Douglas T-45 Goshawk in 2008.

The roar of those LEAP engines over the match must have turned heads. Would've loved to capture that approach from below.

La capacidad está: Airbus España, ITP Aero, Indra, Sener... EDGE-Indra PULSE demuestra que con visión compartida se compite globalmente. Pero sin programas estables, el talento acaba buscando donde sí los hay.

🇺🇸 U.S. Air Force's new B-21 Raider stealth strategic bomber was flown by an operational test pilot for the first time. The pilot, assigned to Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center’s (AFOTEC) Detachment 5 at Edwards Air Force Base, flew the bomber recently with a developmental test pilot sharing the cockpit. #B21 Raider is a subsonic stealth strategic bomber in development for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) by Northrop Grumman. It will be capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear munitions. @northropgrumman B-21 will initially complement B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit strategic bombers, and will replace them by 2040s.
