She’s a little early for an April Fools joke but this is how the Canadian government dis-respects federally trained airline workers aka flight attendants - for decades! It’s common knowledge FAs on duty work 30-35/hrs a month FREE! #UnpaidWorkWontFly
Today, we released the findings from the probe on unpaid work in the federally regulated airline sector. The probe did not identify evidence of a sector-wide problem.

And push your chair in. 💁🏻‍♀️🪑#manners
This elderly lady in the public restroom took a paper towel and started to wipe the entire counter and handles and faucet down while I was waiting. I said she didn’t need to do that for me. She turned around and said “if we all just put in a little effort to make things a little better than how we found it, the world would better a place” and so now I always wipe down counters 😭

10 SECRETS AIRPORTS TEACH YOU ABOUT LIFE ✈️ 1. Timing matters. Being 5 minutes late can cost you an opportunity. 2. Preparation beats talent. The prepared traveler has a smoother journey. 3. Not everyone is going where you're going. Stop comparing your path to others. 4. Waiting is part of the process. Every journey has delays. 5. Small mistakes can become big problems. Forgetting one document can change everything. 6. The world is much bigger than your bubble. Millions of people are living completely different lives. 7. Goodbyes are a part of growth. Sometimes people are meant for a season, not a lifetime. 8. Opportunities often require movement. Amazing destinations aren't reached by standing still. 9. The people around you affect your journey. Choose your company wisely. 10. Every destination starts with a departure. You must leave something behind to reach something better. Airports are one of the few places where you can watch hope, fear, ambition, excitement, and heartbreak all in the same room.

💯💯💯💯 Your inflight crew no matter what aircraft type is onboard for your safety. To save your life if needed. End of.
As a pilot, I accept if we go down the other pilot & I are likely not gonna make it. The pax stand better odds. Those odds are further increased with a well trained, professional CA or FA. Doubt me? Take a look at the Hop-A-Jet accident in Naples, FL. She saved the pax.

🧵💺DYK? The #FlightAttendant greeting you aboard isn’t just being polite. 👉A trained FA has noted your: ✔️physical capability ✔️health status ✔️demeanor✔️whether you present as a potential asset or risk. That warm smile is entirely real. The assessment behind it? ⬇️

5/The next time you step onto a flight remember: cabin crew hospitality is genuine, but the cataloging is systematic. You've been assessed before finding your row. That’s a vigilant FA doing their job, it starts the moment you step on, keeping you safe every moment of the flight.

P. S. In 2026 & for decades prior, federally trained FAs are fighting to be paid during the boarding process by their respective airline. Not paid a fraction of their hourly pay but 100% for 100% work. So many passengers support this & it’s very appreciated. #UnPaidWorkWontFly

Flexjet cabin/flight attendants (referred to as Cabin Servers) are First Responders in the air. Safety is their primary ops duty. They undergo comprehensive & specialized emergency procedures training mandated via @faa through organizations like @FlightSafetyInt or Aircare FACTS.

NEW: A Bombardier Challenger 601 business jet landed on a road still under construction in Asaba, Nigeria, after a failed approach to Asaba International Airport on Wednesday. According to the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, the aircraft conducted a missed approach at about 7:43 a.m. local time before reportedly landing on a roadway in the Ogwashi-Uku area near Asaba. The regulator said preliminary findings showed that the aircraft later departed the location and flew back to Lagos without obtaining the required regulatory clearance. Upon arrival in Lagos, the aircraft was immediately grounded pending the outcome of the investigation, while the flight crew were placed under regulatory review. The NCAA also announced the suspension of the operator's Permit for Non-Commercial Flight pending further inquiries.

Don’t ever touch the crew. Ever. Zero tolerance. Article doesn’t say but I’m guessing fines & maybe on no fly list? 😍

DYK? Employees at WestJet were proud owners. That airline is gone. 👉Today it’s a private equity firm & a ruthless corporate playbook. #FlightAttendants manage boarding & ground delays entirely off the clock. 🤝Show your support today: endunpaidwork.ca/ #UnpaidWorkWontFly

Awesome PR. TBH a 7 yr old unaccompanied minor can do that. Is Mr. Jordan federally trained in CPR/First Aid/AED, fire fighting, planned/unplanned evacuation procedures? Ditching? FAs are not hospitality hosts. They’re First Responders at 35,000 ft. - snacks from the CEO is cute.
He does it again! After his February cabin crew role, Robert Jordan, the CEO of Southwest Airlines, repeats it where he's serving snacks to the passengers and picking up the trash on a flight to Dallas. In the past, several airline CEOs have traded their corporate suits for cabin crew uniforms to gain hands-on operational experience and connect with frontline staff. 📹 Visuals captured by Alex Stein #99 @alexstein99, who was travelling in that flight. #travel #CEO #cabincrewlife #aviation

SPAM voicemail today from an “employee” requesting a call back. The toll free number given isn’t anywhere on the government website. Already submitted my census form. 🤨
