Individuals who make Pride Night about themselves are exactly why these events are held. The existence of LGBTQ people should not be a matter of opinion or morality. They are human beings and deserve to be treated with respect.

UPDATE: At least 4 San Francisco Giants players protested Pride Night on Friday vs Chicago
1. Starting pitcher Landen Roupp wrote Genesis 9:12-16 on his Pride hat
2. Reliever Sam Hentges refused to wear the Pride hat (just like Blake Treinen)
3. Reliever JT Brubaker wrote Genesis 9:13-15 on his Pride hat
4. Reliever Ryan Walker wrote a message on the side of his Pride hat was unreadable on the broadcast
*I couldn't tell on the broadcast if outspoken Christian Robbie Ray protested as well

Idk whether the Giannis to Boston trade happens but in case it does here are my thoughts:
-Giannis is better than JB
-Giannis is riskier than JB
- Because of that, the trade would raise the Celtics' ceiling but lower their floor

-Celtics better be 100% certain on Giannis's medicals, especially if he signs an extension (which would be a prerequisite of any trade for him anyway)
-Mazzulla would have to let Giannis play his game of attacking the paint and not force him to adapt to Mazzulla ball

Overall, if it's Jaylen and a 1st and the medicals look good, I'm happy with the trade. If it's anything more, I don't see the point. Obviously, the ideal would be a Tatum, Brown, Giannis big 3 but that may not be doable. No matter what, though, the Celtics need to be adding more
