I'm delighted to anounce my new position as Research Fellow at @BiolSci_UWA & @uwaoceans working in close collaboration with @minderoo
I will be working closely with many familiar faces (both awesome sharks and people) and look forward to sharing more news soon🙂

In our team was @jessrpearce who's our eDNA and genomics expert, @BenDantonio who studies shark movements and oceanography, and @Emily_Spurgeon who's our acoutic telemetry expert. We were just missing is our co-lead @marinecologist who couldn't make this trip!

Last week I lead my first shark tagging field trip and had an absolute blast !
We tagged 15 tiger sharks with long-term (~10 year) acoustic tags to follow these beauties as they move throughout Exmouth gulf and beyond ! Thanks to @minderoo and @EcolSocAus for the support 🦈
