People think being strong means putting people in their place and not taking shit. But some of the strongest people I know practice forgiveness, give others the benefit of the doubt and aren’t scared to give second chances.

I got a lot happier and experienced a lot more success once I stopped waiting for other people to create opportunities for me and started creating them for myself.

Unpopular opinion: it’s wild that coaches expect potential clients who will literally need to overhaul their entire lifestyle in order to be successful be “motivated” and “100% committed.” If they were 100% motivated and committed they wouldn’t need you.

Waiting until you’re ready diminishes the opportunity to learn. A challenge is fruitful because it is challenging, not because you feel prepared.

Leadership isn’t hard because of the technical skills you need to learn, but because of the person you need to become to do them.

Do you really need to “get organized first?” OR, are you stalling on making that big leap in your business because you know when you invest big, you’re gonna be ON THE HOOK BIG?

Beginners need consistency. Intermediates need strategy. Advanced need delegation team. All levels need to stay as clinical as possible.

I’ve posted 4710 photos on Instagram since 2012. That’s an average of 362 posts per year. Folks wondering “when is it gonna happen for me?! I’ve been posting for months!” are missing the fact that it’s *already* happening and the reps don’t ever end. I don’t know one successful online business owner who thinks of their content creation as a destination.

The degree to which I’m present and focused in my life is 100% reliant upon the degree to which I seek out recovery time and alone time.

Ok it’s not super helpful to tell women who are experiencing perimenopause/menopausal weight gain that they’re just eating too many calories. While for some it may even be true … it’s still such an incomplete soundbite with zero context or empathy. And it’s definitely not coaching.

Some people stay clinical, believe in possibility and work hard to make things happen. Other people spend their energy arguing about why it won't work.

My first big biz investment was $10k. And I didn’t have the money. Didn’t even have a credit card with a $10k limit. But all I could think was, if this woman can charge $10k to work with her, I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW SHE DOES IT. I launched a new program to my small list of personal contacts on Hotmail lol, with a PDF FLYER, got 14 people to invest $100/mth for a year for my first mentorship. I made $17k and paid my coach. AND those 14 ladies got everything! I’m still working with some of them today!

If you want to work with someone because you believe they have the playbook you need, instead of scoffing at their prices or immediately saying, “I don’t have the money” … try on alternatives like: —I need to learn how she can charge that —I need to learn what she knows —How can I make the money I need? —Who do I need to become to be someone who invests that much? I’m grateful every day my first mentor put a price point in front of me that challenged my beliefs, and forced me to get resourceful.

Instead of doing it once you become qualified, start doing it and as a result become qualified.
