£38k isn’t bad for a 1yr of work for an inexperienced doctor surely? £44k for a second yr and then once they have worked up to it £73k, it’s pretty good imo. You can’t expect to leave uni/training and earn top money straight away, you have to work for it, it’s called life!

Let’s hope it is the actual farmers who get a decent rise rather than the supermarkets who usually get a big markup! It would be totally immoral if prices rose in the supermarkets, the public had to pay it and the farmers/producers got zero!! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy41…

Who else thinks the new @BASISRegLtd app is pretty useless?
It doesn’t have correct points added on, and if they are on they aren’t added up correctly, several events not even appearing. You can’t get online and look as the points section doesn’t show anything. #frustrating 🤬🤷♂️

Well it’s been a week & no reply from @EnvAgency to my email concerning filling reservoirs for UK food production. I find it hard to believe they won’t let us abstract when the river is near the top,flowing well. Water going out to see at Denver, wasted, not contained, disgrace!

UK farmers use about 1-2% of the total volume of water used annually while the water authorities loose over 3 billion litres per day or 20% of supply through leaky pipes, that’s the equivalent to 1000 Olympic sized swimming pools!
