This is shocking from Shadow Home Secretary Chris @CPhilpOfficial. A survivor, aged 15, in Bradford repeatedly told her social worker of being gang raped. Instead of helping her she was allowed to marry her abuser in an Islamic ceremony, the social worker was a guest.
Shabir Ahmed who was jailed for 22 years for being the gang rape leader in Rochdale, was employed by Oldham Council as a Welfare Rights Officer.
A man tried to rescue his daughter, the police arrested him twice.
A survivor was repeatedly raped by Pakistani heritage taxi drivers, her mother approached social services & was told if she complained again, she'd lose her daughter.
A retired police officer was told by a senior officer not to pursue the prosecution of perpetrators as they did not want to offend Bradford's Muslim community.
The cover up was complete.

His ‘crime’? Three gender-critical tweets.
As Graham says in his Substack:
