Globally, there are 27 million #nurses which represent nearly half of the health workforce of 62 million. #WHO projects a 9 million shortfall by 2030. In the UK, 35% of nurses are aged over 50 years. In USA, it’s 40%. Canada 30%, Australia 39%. We’re sleepwalking into a crisis.
