Progress update on this, I'm well over 200 Garfields in and it still hasn't happened, I did get one whose least favorite food was lasagna though so I kept him, edited his face/personality and named him Dleifrag.
I currently have 15 Garfields in Tomodachi Life because I'm determined to eventually get one with lasagna as the favorite food of all time, so far it has not happened.

In Mario Party, minigame descriptions treat being eliminated merely as being out of the game, except for Bumper Balls, which shifts the tone by stating the winner is the last one left alive. This implies that while other minigames might be for fun, Bumper Balls is to the death.

In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, an unused room takes Mario and Luigi through a time portal into a white void. This inadvertently highly resembles the classic SpongeBob SquarePants episode "SB-129", where the same exact scenario happens to Squidward.

I'm playing every Mario game in order, and I caught a detail that I never noticed before.
I always knew that Luigi's overalls were made more purple in SMW, but I somehow never realized that they've kept that change ever since. Although they've desaturated them quite a bit by now

It seems super obvious now that I'm consciously aware of it, but it somehow never occurred to me that they were different colors. It doesn't help that they do very occasionally forget to make them a different color, but they're still consistent about 90% of the time.
