Speaking as a Jew: ADL is NOT a Jewish organization. It is an ultra-left activist org that pushes radical transgenderism, border erasure, police dismantlement, and the demolition of free speech—deploying rank slander, bullying and character assassination to achieve its aims. These views and tactics are expressly contrary to sacred Jewish and biblical teaching. When justly criticized, ADL and its defenders falsely claim anti-Semitism, thereby diminishing all past and present victims of anti-Semitism. In fact, conflating criticism of ADL with criticism of Jews is itself an anti-Semitic trope. Bottom line: ADL is a disreputable organization that has gravely undermined Jewish interests and is worthy of the strongest condemnation.

twitter.com/DocumentIsrael/s… Flashback: A Palestinian mother from Gaza brought her sick son to an Israeli hospital for life-saving treatment, free of charge, from the very people she views as enemies. In the interview (right there in the hospital), she openly says she'd rather he grow up to become a "martyr" (die in jihad/terrorism against Jews) than die from illness. She wants him healthy... so he can blow himself up in a crowded Israeli place, maybe even the same hospital that saved him. She explains: Allah obligates every Muslim to wage jihad and embrace martyrdom. Unlike Jews and Christians who mourn dead children, Muslims rejoice when their kids are martyred in holy war, because Allah guarantees them paradise. This isn't fringe. It's the raw ideology fueling the conflict: gratitude for mercy twisted into a desire for future violence. Human life saved by Israelis, only to be sacrificed against them. That's the tragic, twisted reality.

Dear @MattWalshBlog: I was 11 when the Islamic Revolution swept the Ayatollah into power in 1979. You weren’t born yet, I know, but for those of us who were, well, the memory of it is seared into our consciousness. 66 Americans were held hostage for 444 days. America was held hostage. Then President Carter was impotent. Americans wanted, no, they demanded a strong response. It never came. Since that time, the ayatollahs have waged war on America and Americans — they coined the term “The Great Satan” — with impunity, knowing that the America governed by Clintons and Obamas and Bidens (and even Bushes) was weak and tolerant. Thus, the Iranians funded 90 attacks on American soldiers since 2020 alone. They have killed more than 600. So, no, I do not accept your straw man argument that those of us who support President Trump’s decision to bomb Iran came up with the talking points “5 minutes ago.” We came up with them 47 years ago, Matt. The charge is outrageous, condescending (which you are prone to), and historically ignorant — but you weren’t born yet and maybe you just don’t know any better. You’re better than your flaccid arguments. (I saw your What is a Woman? movie. And liked it. Do better.) Many of us do remember 1979 and the attacks and tortures and murders since, and we’ve wanted a strong response for decades. Not for revenge, mind you, as that makes for poor policy. But for justice. And because Iran is the head (a hydra, there are many heads) of the terrorist snake. You want the terrorists at home gone? So do I. So does every Trump voter. But who do you think funds them, trains them, sends them to do their dirty work? I live in the South. Fire ants are a thing. I fought that battle for years pointlessly. Why? Because my neighbors didn’t fight it at all. No sooner did I destroy an ant hill than a new one almost spontaneously generated. Finally, I convinced my neighbors to let me kill theirs, too. Only then were my children safe from the bane of fire ants. This is America First. You tend to lean not America First, but America Only. Get out more. See the world as I have. And when you do you’ll realize the storm brewing at home is fueled from abroad. They are not mutually exclusive. Attack both. Strike the root of the terrorist tree or you accomplish nothing.
I can't take the gaslighting, guys. I really can't. Conservatives are now running around saying "Iran has been waging war on us for 47 years." Okay then why didn't any of you call for an attack on Iran at any point until now? Why didn't you make a case for Trump "ending the war, not starting it" until precisely the moment when Trump did it? You and I both know that you are latching onto a talking point you never used until 45 seconds ago. You and I both know that almost every conservative influencer in the business was opposed to war with Iran until just now. And now you're trying to use justifications that stretch back decades. It doesn't make any sense. If you changed your mind, fine. Say so. Explain why. You're allowed to change your mind. I've changed my mind about things. But don't try to rewrite history. Be honest about it. There's too much at stake to play these games.

the biggest question Americans should be asking, and this goes back even to Iran-Contra affair: why has the US spent so many years helping to build up the military strength of the islamic republic?

A couple of weeks ago, a university professor who knows @GadSaad asked me what I think of what Prof. Saad says about Islam and Islamism. I told him it is unbelievable that he would even ask such a question. It shows how far the false narrative about Islam has been pushed, to the point that the plain truth Prof. Saad is stating is treated as questionable. There is absolutely no difference between Islam and Islamism. I was raised Muslim, and the word “Islamism” never crossed my path until I encountered Western discourse. Islam is not a religion; Islam HAS a religion. Imagine a version of communism where Marx is a prophet and the manifesto is the holy book, that is exactly what Islam is: a political ideology with a religious aspect. Islam is a state. Muslims are citizens of that state. It has a constitution (Sharia), it has a foreign policy strategy (jihad), and it has a leader (the caliph). Wherever Islam exists, it exists to rule and to replace man-made law. Stop being afraid to say the truth. Stop debating whether what we say is true or not. You have been deceived into thinking there is a difference between Islam and Islamism, there is none.
Not “version of Islam” but just Islam.

Here is the simplest way to understand the difference between a Muslim and an Islamist. A Muslim becomes an Islamist the MOMENT he or she acts to shape public life from an Islamic standpoint. What does that mean? It means that WHENEVER Islam is brought into politics, law, social norms, or public order, it becomes Islamism. What does that mean? It means that Islamism is Islam put into action. So what is a “non-Islamist” Muslim? Simply a Muslim who remains silent in public life, who does not attempt to impose, advocate, or advance Islamic norms in society. Is it possible to be a ‘non-Islamist’ Muslim? Yes, socially. But theologically Allah would consider you an unbeliever (Qur’an 5:44). Therefore, the difference between Islam and Islamism, or between Muslims and Islamists, is not theological. It is behavioral. It rests only on whether Islam is actively projected into public life or not.
