My last Calc AB students @SMSouthTDain had a 60% pass rate ππ½ππ½(55.6% globally). 24 yrs ago SMS allowed me to offer Calc AB to 10 students creating the course for @theSMSD. Now sections are offered at all high schools. ππ½ for making Calculus accessible to so many students ππ

Annie Easley was born 89 years ago today. She was an American mathematician and computer scientist. Easley worked at NASA and wrote the software for the Centaur rocket stage. Her work paved the way for later rocket and satellite launches. Learn more here: mathigon.org/timeline/easley
