Summertime eats with beer brats and corn-on-the-cob from the grill and air fryer roasted potatoes — all enjoyed on the patio with an ice cold (ok, a couple) Yuengling flights for Sunday supper at the Crainstead!

Nice finish to the weekend and the perfect opportunity to do our take of the Schlow burger on the grill complete with homemade sauce & grilled onions, along with camp fired potatoes, and a broccoli salad on the side. This far exceeded the already high standards at the Crainstead!
It’s been a little while since this has been said: The Chicago White Sox are fun. Down to their final out, Miguel Vargas saves the night and it’s bedlam on the South Side.

HAPPY TGI-FRIDAY!!! Nice start to the weekend at the Crainstead with chicken pesto flatbread topped with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, and a balsamic reduction with honey — the pesto was homemade by Mrs. Crain and the basil was snipped fresh from our herb garden.

Mph and as she does so the rumble strips create the melody of “America The Beautiful”. This just opened up recently.
The song was chosen as a tribute to America’s open road, the spirit of Route 66 and the upcoming celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary. ❤️🇺🇸
I think that is too cool. Love when towns and cities are patriotic. 💯
Never knew this existed or was a thing. I’ve heard there are other roads in our beautiful country that have other songs as well.
Did you know this existed? Have you ever driven on a road where the rumble strips play a song before? Isn’t that cool?
PLAY BALL!!! Congratulations to the @ShoesBaseball on the start of their fifth season at historic Robin Roberts Stadium. The weather was perfect for opening night last night and it was great to see so many families and kids at the ballpark. shoesbaseball.com/
