Aimlessly wandering the web since 1994. Marketing leader with experience at Rula, Nomad Health, FiftyThree, Backflip, Yahoo, LinkedIn, eBay, J.Crew & more.
I'm starting a new job this week leading the marketing team at Pearl Health. For kicks, I had my AI digital twin make this video about it to post to LinkedIn. Made with Gemini for stills, Seedance Heygen for video and voice, Suno for music, and CapCut for editing.
Let's go!
I made this video portrait of myself in a few minutes using just AI and one selfie I took from my office. Still image frames by @GoogleAI, video clips by @midjourney, music by @elevenlabs.
Ask ChatGPT:
“In 10 questions, what could you find out about me that I don't even know about myself? Ask me the 10 questions one by one and do not explain why you are asking them.
After the 10 questions reveal what you have learnt about me which I would not know about
myself.”
Every time I join a new company, I struggle trying to learn their acronyms. Someone should make a simple desktop SaaS tool that provides a description when you hover over the acronym based on a company glossary.
OpenAI is pretty great at 3D illustrations. These took just a few minutes to make. Brands often use simple 2D illustrations because more sophisticated styles are expensive to produce. AI will allow for much more advanced visuals at scale.
Creating consistent brand assets with ChatGPT 4o is a snap. Here I asked for the 3D clock as a transparent PNG using a list of HEX colors. Once I liked the clock, I simply asked for the others in the same style & palette. I could now generate an endless set of matching icons. ✨
When generating photos, you can also ask the AI to incorporate specific brand colors so everything looks cohesive. Here you can see ChatGPT included the brand's green color on the wall, the baby blue in the coffee cup and notebook, and tan in the curtains and window shelf.
I made a native iPhone game in a couple hours yesterday. I don't know how to code. I was home taking care of a sick kid. As she napped, I made this for her by just chatting with an AI. It's a Pictionary-inspired game where an AI tries to guess what my daughter draws.
Finally got around to trying Replit this weekend (AI app development tool). Mind blown! It's creating the prototype for an app I've been thinking about as I type this. Super impressed.
Is Replit the best tool like this for non-technical people? I don't know how to code.
I’ve been using the ChatGPT task below the last few days. It’s sends me daily journal prompts. I usually respond with a voice memo during a walk, then the AI provides relevant advice. For some reason, I had to edit the task & paste the instructions again for it to save correctly.
I'd like an AI app that can listen in on my Zoom calls and recommend relevant speaking points, questions, and reference links in real-time. Does that exist?
It's crazy how many good domain names are owned, but not used. Makes sense given they were cheap to acquire and probably just go up in value. Still, ideally they wouldn't sit unused. It's as if most the stores on a busy downtown street sat empty.
Free biz idea: facial recognition software for coffee shops and other retailers for personalized salesperson recommendations. “Would you like your regular latte with oat milk?” (regular purchase) “Want a chocolate croissant with that?” (Occasional upsell)
