I have to admit it has been fascinating to hear about how I and a bunch of professors single-handedly lost every war over the past 30 years while the new A-team is losing to Iran in record time.
I'll be honest. I had the same thought. The InfantryDort and friends circle jerk about how War Colleges and ROE lost the GWOT and the crash out about Tom Nichols is extra embarrassing with Iran running the table against Trump and Hesgeth.

Gen. Randy George should not have been removed by Kegsbreath, but the notion that you shouldn’t fire generals during wartime is preposterous. If a general/admiral is incompetent and/or presides over operational defeat then they should be fired, and we don’t do that often enough.

Mutual hard interests practically dictate that the #transatlantic alliance will persist, in spite of Trump’s wrecking ball, but will do so in a different political context and burden-sharing configuration. We should all be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
