There is an easy fix for the state of media today:
A broadcast channel where the participants have to be sworn in, under penalty of jail time for perjury if they lie, before going on the air. I'd watch that channel.
Did I just break down and purchase the 5 remaining original D&D Known World/Mystara Gazetteers that I was missing? Yes.
Do I regret doing so? Absolutely not!!!
Not yet anyway.
(Full disclosure: my wife has yet to learn about any of this).
Another day, another mail call:
My original copy of Shadowdale didn't survive the 90s. It was a dark time for a couple dozen of my TTRPG items (thanks to a raccoon the size of a dog that decided to chew a hole in my roof while I was away on vacation). Glad to have it back!
Pro DM tip:
If you don't want to spend $100 on a bag for your TTRPG materials (which isn't big enough to fit all of your crap anyway), get a MUCH LARGER and better crafted sports equipment bag for $60 instead!
On a related note, Roman numerals are cool... IF you're only going up to about 10 or 20. Once you get beyond that, especially into the hundreds, it's entirely more trouble than it is worth. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
So I bought the thing... paid WAY too much for it... but at least my Planescape collection is now 100% complete (not including that crazy-ass sketchbook that was only sold at a convention and now goes for like $3,500- that doesn't count).
