This is LONG but: “All Hail The Queen” 👑 Rosemary Scapicchio has been the absolute bulldog of this entire saga, and her impact cannot be overstated. While the Karen Read case dominated the headlines, Scapicchio was quietly and aggressively fighting a massive legal battle behind the scenes that has blown the doors off the entire thing. She saw the "institutional rot" before almost anyone else did and realized that if Michael Proctor was behaving this way while investigating Myles King, he was doing it to other people, too. When Scapicchio subpoenaed Proctor to appear in court for a hearing regarding these records, he decided to just not show up, his lawyer later said he was on a pre-planned vacation. Scapicchio immediately blasted him on camera, loudly pointing out that he "thinks he's above the law." She refused to let him quietly dodge accountability. Sound familiar? Because of her relentless push for discovery in the Myles King case, Karen Read's civil team was able to access the exact same records to build their explosive lawsuit.
