Here is the arrogance of a partisan democratic journalist.
John Harwood mocked Markwayne Mullin as a plumber, conveniently leaving out the rest of the story.
Mullin built and operated a successful plumbing business, competed as an MMA fighter, served in Congress, was elected to the U.S. Senate, and now serves as Secretary of Homeland Security.
That sounds a lot more like the American dream than the caricature Harwood wants to sell.
There is dignity in skilled trades. Plumbing requires hard work, accountability, expertise, and the willingness to solve real problems every day. Millions of Americans earn a living that way and deserve respect, not ridicule.
I’ll take the judgment of someone who has built a business, worked with his hands, competed in the arena, and served his country over commentators whose primary qualification is talking about the people actually doing the work.
The arrogance of a career biased journalist that probably drinks his soy milk lattes, weekly manicures and wet his bed till he was 12.
I think I will listen to real man versus a performative socialist that has zero experience other than TicTok.
John go get a job - Even CNN dumped your sorry ass for not doing your job.
@CNN @SenMullin @DHSgov @realDonaldTrump @RealTomHoman @NYCMayor
New Yorkers definitely want a plumber from Oklahoma telling them what to do
