ALT As many of you are aware, John Muir High School’s Varsity Football team will be playing Hughson High School in Hughson, California for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 5AA State Championship on Saturday, December 10 at 6pm. I want to recognize Principal Lawton Gray and congratulate our football team and Head Coach Lance Mitchell as well as the entire coaching staff who have done an amazing job with a team of upstanding young men that take care of business on the football field and in the classroom. I would also like to recognize the student-athletes, coaches, parents, families, Principal Gray, and the Pasadena Unified School District which has taken care of the travel and food for the team, ensuring our Mustangs are ready to win tomorrow evening. Our City prides itself on the generous support of our community who always steps up to help unselfishly.
