Please explain to me how bashing Sen. Cornyn, a good man with a lifetime of service to the state of Texas and the country, is going to help convince his 900k supporters to vote for Ken. Newsflash to the top of the ticket - YOU NEED US. Best you start acting like it.
TX Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick tells state GOP delegates that there are 2 Republicans who lost primaries who are "sore losers undermining our party." Later on, after someone yells out Cornyn's name, Patrick indicates he was referring to Cornyn, saying Cornyn "isn't helping right now."

So you're saying Paxton DOESN'T need Cornyn's 900k voters? Then why continue to browbeat us to "unify"? Go win in November with no one but the hardcore Paxton folks. Leave us alone. Good luck.
This is insane. “You need us?” How much coddling needs to be afforded to the vanquished in order to wheedle them into the most basic of responsibilities— uniting to beat Talarico? As for that “lifetime of service,” it is tainted by a final chapter of bitter grudges.

Pls understand that I'm not commenting on the relative merits of Paxton vs Talarico I'm just saying, if Paxton wants the best chance of winning in Nov, he and his surrogates need to act like Cornyn voters matter to them Shameless plug for more here - open.substack.com/pub/johnhu…

I'm not threatening to "sink Texas", whatever that means. I'm stating the blindingly obvious fact that insulting a good man like John Cornyn at the very time that the top of the GOP ticket needs his supporters the most is counterproductive to the goal of winning in November.
Replying to @JohnRHuffman
If you are threatening to sink Texas bc people are mean to Cornyn (who refuses to support our nominee), you aren't our people and you don't give a damn about Texas.

This is a welcome surprise for those of us who prefer that the RPT not be completely dominated by the Dunn Machine.

Project Hail Mary - the best movie I've seen since Top Gun Maverick. Close to perfect. If you're read the book, you'll find some of the emotions of the plot twists don't land as hard because you already know the story, but even so, it's still spectacularly well done.

Elizabeth and I are proud to support Chairman @JimWright4Texas for many, many reasons. The Texas Oil and Gas Industry is the lifeblood of this state and, in many ways, our country. Please go vote for Chairman Wright on May 26th in the runoff election.

The original post was gross. But so is this gaslighting, and the fact that so many folks in my party will rush to embrace it.

Q: "Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ?" President Trump: "I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor."

Blame shifting for electoral losses is easy and makes you feel good. Understanding why Republicans are losing winnable districts is harder. If we want to keep Texas red, we need to focus less on settling scores and more on earning back the voters we’re losing.

Primaries reward intensity and purity. General elections reward coalition-building. Confusing the two is how you win March and lose November.

You can win a primary with intensity. You win a general with persuasion. Confusing the two is how you lose seats.

In a district like SD9, you don’t win by shrinking the tent. You win by expanding it. By listening to voters, bringing people in, and earning their trust. Good Republicans like my friends Zee, Barbara, and so many others should be part of that coalition, not pushed out.

Texans expect their leaders to be focused on the job AND accountable for how taxpayer dollars are used. Asking for answers isn’t political. It’s basic governance. Sen. Cornyn is right to demand transparency here.
For Immediate Release March 25, 2026 Cornyn Campaign Demands OAG Release Complete Record Surrounding Illegal Spending OAG Giving Donors Taxpayer-Funded Hotel Rooms is Latest Example of Paxton’s Failures AUSTIN, TX — The news outlet Texas Bullpen reported yesterday that the Texas Office of Attorney General (OAG) is disclosing an improper use of taxpayer funds from January 2025. On Friday, March 21, two longtime senior officials at OAG, Chief of Staff Lesley French Henneke and Chief Financial Officer Michelle Price, suddenly “resigned”. However, as with most things involving Crooked Ken Paxton, his explanation appears self-serving, incomplete, and likely dishonest. Today the Texans for Senator John Cornyn campaign is demanding OAG release all emails, text messages and receipts related to the taxpayer-funded hotel rooms. “If the purpose of the trip was for staff to attend the 2025 Inauguration in Washington, DC, then why did OAG give the extra rooms to Paxton donors?” said Cornyn campaign senior advisor Matt Mackowiak. “When was Attorney General Ken Paxton made aware of this scandal? This inappropriate spending occurred 14 months ago. They just found out about it now? If true it’s another embarrassing example of Ken Paxton being asleep at the switch at his day job. It appears two longtime senior staff members are being scapegoated.” The Cornyn campaign has several questions for Attorney General Paxton: 1. Was your paramour Tracy Duhon, a married mother of seven and Christian influencer from Louisiana, on your trip to the Inauguration and did she receive taxpayer-funded lodging and security? 2. Who were the donors who received the taxpayer-funded and office-secured hotel rooms? 3. Your office told the Texas Bullpen that weather prevented staff from traveling to Washington, DC and using the rooms. Who were the staff members? If travel was impossible, how were you able to travel to Washington, DC? 4. When was Attorney General Ken Paxton made aware of this inappropriate use of taxpayer funds? 5. When was the State of Texas repaid for the taxpayer-funded hotel rooms? Please release the proof of repayment. 6. Which staff were involved in approving this inappropriate use of taxpayer resources? 7. Were Henneke and Price involved in approving this inappropriate use of taxpayer-funded rooms for donors? If so, why weren’t they fired? Did they receive taxpayer-funded severance? How much? On top of this new scandal, Attorney General Paxton’s tenure has been littered with embarrassing episodes of mismanagement and dysfunction. First Assistant Attorney General Brent Webster was accused of witness tampering in June 2025. Bloomberg Law reported on sexual harassment allegations and a lawsuit against then Solicitor General Judd Stone in May 2025. Last year it also was revealed that Attorney General Paxton approved more than $7 million in taxpayer-funded grants to radical left wing groups. Rest easy, Chuck. Thanks for all the memories!
Texas has lost a legend. All of Texas mourns the passing of Chuck Norris. He was not only a martial arts champion, action icon, and the one and only Walker, Texas Ranger. But he electrified generations of conservatives. Giving them a passion and voice to fight for the principles that make America the greatest nation on earth. He embodied the toughness, grit, and patriotism that makes Texas supreme. Rest in peace, Chuck.

Republicans should be the party of election integrity AND credibility. That means following the facts, understanding the data, and not amplifying claims we can’t substantiate. Posts like this undermine confidence in elections - and make us look stupid.
***BREAKING - NATIONAL SECURITY ISSUE*** 66,146 GOP ballots DELETED during TX early voting. 87,336 voters appeared, disappeared, reappeared in state records. The Cornyn-Paxton margin is only 26K. Someone inside the system is picking our nominees. Don’t certify. Audit no, this is too big not to notice. Complacency will end our Constitutional Republic! WHAT HAPPENED? Your vote disappeared. During early voting, thousands of Texas ballots vanished from official state records—then reappeared—then vanished again. In BOTH parties. The data proves someone inside the system is manipulating who wins. We need answers before November. THE PROBLEM IN SIMPLE NUMBERS: REPUBLICAN PRIMARY: •87,336 voters appeared, disappeared, then reappeared in state records •66,146 ballots completely deleted from final count •35,772 extra ballots added to people who already voted •Only 26,000 votes separate Cornyn and Paxton—but 66,000 ballots disappeared DEMOCRAT PRIMARY: •37,039 voters appeared, disappeared, then reappeared •10,558 ballots completely deleted from final count •35,169 extra ballots added to people who already voted •144,000 votes separate Senate candidates—but 10,000 ballots vanished Why This Matters: •These numbers are bigger than the margins in major races •This affects who appears on your November ballot •Both parties were hit—this isn’t partisan, it’s corruption THREE SIMPLE RULES THEY BROKE: Rule #1: Numbers Should Never Go Backwards •What should happen: Vote totals only go UP as more people vote •What actually happened: On February 17, the vote count went DOWN seven different times •Translation: Ballots were deleted in real-time during voting Rule #2: One Person, One Ballot •What should happen: Your Voter ID gets one ballot recorded •What actually happened: 1,549 Republican voters and 54 Democrat voters had MULTIPLE ballots counted •Translation: The system is stacking extra votes on real people Rule #3: Your Ballot Stays Counted •What should happen: Once you vote, your ballot stays in the record •What actually happened: 66,146 Republican and 10,558 Democrat voter records completely vanished by the end •Translation: Real votes were erased This isn’t a theory. This is downloaded government data from the Secretary of State’s website. Every day during early voting, researchers saved a copy of who voted. When they compared those snapshots, the numbers moved BACKWARDS. That’s mathematically impossible unless someone is inside the system changing records in real-time.” Supporting fact: The Texas Secretary of State changed the data file format multiple times during early voting and made access intermittent—exactly when researchers were watching. Whoever controls our elections controls TRILLIONS in state and federal budgets. This is a national security emergency. Foreign adversaries, cartels, corporate interests—anyone with the resources to breach our systems can now pick our leaders. President Trump, AG Bondi, and DNI Gabbard need to treat this like the cyber-attack it is and lock it down BEFORE November. #TXPrimary #ElectionIntegrity Thank you @Unite4Freedom for your in-depth dive into this National Security issue.
