I ask this because of several reasons -- the modern popularity of Halloween is soaring, horror movies are among the most successful genre still playing in movie theaters, and the almost cult-like following for some of these movies. Thoughts?

Turnout from last night - while Alabama is a red state, it may be mirroring the national trends. Red counties (Baldwin, Winston, Cullman, Shelby, etc.) had turnouts trailing 2022 primary. Montgomery and Jefferson saw bump ups. Almost all Black Belt counties above state trend.
