New York City officials said two passengers were rescued safely after their seaplane crashed into the East River on Saturday morning. The FDNY launched a major technical response around 9:30 a.m. near the Throggs Neck Bridge and Whitestone, Queens. The two passengers were taken onto an FDNY boat, and no injuries were reported.
