You mean “Goodbye” came from the word “God Be With You” ?! So “goodbye” is a contraction from the 16th century phrase “God be with ye” and was says so often till it became “Good-b’wye” then “goodbwye “ then finally “goodbye”. My Christian mind… Blown.
