When a member from the PSL Los Angeles branch quit and went public with criticisms in 2010 he was called crazy and a cop. I heard this myself from multiple leading PSL members.

Walter Smolarek PSL resignation letter. He was a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation for a very long time, including when I was a member and I quit a long time ago, in late 2012.

After calling off work sick for a couple days and on my first day back, my boss joked with a coworker who sits next to me to keep an eye on me and then he joked back that he'll be on standby to administer CPR.
It did make me smile. It reminded me of when I did CPR on myself...

Something else I bizarrely appreciate about my scooter accident - when I was in the hospital I heard that little jingle signifying a baby was born. I appreciated knowing life goes on.
