First listen - Playing The Boys Of Dungeon Lane in bed. Thereโs something really nostalgic and tender about it - Paul revisiting his Liverpool beginnings with warm and reminiscent melodies. I like it, although a couple of songs feel like they could have had a bit more to them.

3 years ago a letter was sent from the ICO to our Parish church (to the CEO, via the Data Protection Officer) giving their view on how the church should have dealt with our DSAR following our complaints. This is 1 of a number of letters the ICO sent to them over 3 years. ๐งต๐ชก

Those letters were never seen by the PCC - there is no record of them on file in the Parish!
For the last 6 months we have been preparing evidence bundles, including all letters from the ICO, to complete & correct the records (at the request of the Interim Priest-in-charge & CWs)

After a great deal of work preparing this (& a number of other disturbing issues), we have now been told it will not be used.
Revisiting all the abuse we suffered at the time was grueling, spending days, weeks & months compiling all the evidence - only to be shut down. Again!

Binge-watching #BelieveMe on #ITV last night felt painfully familiar.
The parallels with our experience in our Parish Church and with the then Rector were impossible to ignore. Years of stress & pain. Just when we saw a glimmer of hope for accountability, it was shut down. Again!
