I've done a lot of sports, and went to war, and many other things of great effort. I have learned something quite profound, that the main two concerns amongst any craft are breathing and bowel control.
Every dipping sauce at fast food joints in America is 90% soybean oil, and it's disgusting. I would tell them straight up not to eat that garbage, or anything fried in cheap oil either (like chicken sandwiches).
Not gonna lie I kind of feel like in one universe she's his beard after many years being accused of being a homosexual pedophile. I didn't make any accusations, but I read about them often in the alternative media.
The Buggy Choke is one of the first chokes you learn to defend with the fundamental knowledge of not putting your head and arm in the same zone of attack, while Jiu-jitsu competitions are where you go to forget that the ground is hard, and gravity sucks.
Train accordingly.
1.
Self-defense should be trained in a manner that is applicable to real world scenarios where usually the aggressor is bigger, stronger, younger, faster, less honorable. That's why they chose to fight you in the first place, they thought they had an edge.
🧵
5. 50% of self-defense is breathing, emotional sobriety, and an ability to perform under pressure. For this reason, competitions, self-defense scenarios, and hard sparring from time to time are a good idea.
4. Everyone trains for different reasons, and many people think they are training for different reasons than their training reflects. If you're not following the wisdom of 1-3, you may fall into the latter category.
3. Every time you lose, you are technically dead. If you choose not to train with certain types of people then you are effectively training to lose to them.
@EddieBravo famously called jiu-jitsu a "virtual reality video game of death."
2. Randori only works when it's applied to threats that you will face, like bigger, stronger, faster, younger, more skilled opponents. If the moves don't work on them, or you can't apply without injury to yourself, is it a good move (yet?).
Asking "why am I doing martial arts" is a good place to start for most people who haven't considered it. I'm reading about age 40 practitioners saying they don't roll with: younger, bigger, stronger, newer people.
Definitely not training for self-defense...
I tricked a PFC into eating the Wasabi on Staff Duty once. The SDNCO's wife came with sushi, and I was wise not to eat it. The Wasabi prank itself was funny, watching both of them crap the rest of the shift was not. Guess the sushi had gone bad.
People that have a long history of theft should have their hands removed from their body, and the judges who let them out of jail continuously should also suffer the same fate. Everything in my life costs more because of theives.
This happened in Monroe, Louisiana.
A man rolls up on his E- bike at Lowe’s store in outside garden. He grabs something (I don’t know what it is) and he’s getting ready to take off.
Just another day in Monroe.
This gentleman walks up and says something to him, probably to the tune of like why are you stealing? The guy on the bike seems to get upset. The man turns and walks away.
I like how the other guy passes by, looks over and just keeps on walking. 🙄
Many people said they don’t understand why people would put themselves in harms way over a Fortune 500 company, they aren’t struggling they said and they have insurance.
And others said they understood because of this economy and the times we are in. 😳
But a lot of others said this is one of the reasons our prices keep going up and it is not okay to justify stealing because of the economy. A Lowe’s employee said there is so much theft that it affects their livelihood, it affects their bonuses.
What do you think? Is it worth confronting someone if you notice they are stealing from a store? Or should you just mind your own business and keep on walking?
"Nmplol" Reveals Ex-Wife "Malena Tudi" WON His $500k "PSA 10 Charizard Pokemon Card" After Divorce.
He claims it's Fake But His Ex-Wife Doesnt Believe Him
"They thought the Charizard that I have, this PSA 10 Charizard, is real. It is a FAKE card that a VIEWER sent me."
" It ended up in the court docs that that specific card goes to Malena."
"some people aren't as SMART as others. I don't know what to tell you."
Had a visitor to the gym last week try and submit me as best he could in rolls. He never did, but got so frustrated he said, "I can't get anything on you." I thought it was a compliment at first. When I asked if he wanted to roll again, he said: "We've been in those positions...
