I was citing Esteves et al during my training, and 6 years later the productivity continues! A worthwhile read which summarizes bits of infertility knowledge nicely throughout the article. Well done! fertstert.org/article/S0015-… Some old (and new) summary points: - Intratesticular T levels are crucial to adequate spermatogenesis - In hypogonadal NOA pts, hormone-pretreated patients (hCG /- FSH) had 2.5 x higher odds of successful sperm retrieval than those who did not undergo hormone stim - This regimen may be more beneficial for normogonadotropic males (FSH <12) than those who are hypergonadotropic - Varicocele repair prior to sperm retrieval may be of benefit (although not currently endorsed by AUA guidelines)

We had a great OR day: ✅ Salvage IPP ✅ Sperm retrieval ✅ IPP x 3 ✅ AUS remove/replace All while learning training with one of @USFUrology’s finest residents! AND we were happy to bring the first TENACIO pumps to the greater Tampa Bay Area! Thank you team @bsc_urology!

A few take-aways: - ED affects young men too (1/4 under 40 years old!) - Regardless of dosage, daily tadalafil is well tolerated and results in significant improvements - Don't disregard patients with "it's just in your head" academic.oup.com/jsm/article…
