Typical high school football team runs what, maybe 60-80 offensive plays. About 15-20 plays per quarter, 2-3 possessions. Does that sound about right?
Then tell me why you have 40 different passing plays, 10 run schemes, and 17 trick plays.
Repetition and mastery matters.
