πŸ’―meaning educ is a complex interactive process rather than merely transactional. This is important when thinking abt using genAI in educ. Those who think AI will replace teachers see educ as transactional, thinking of AI as an affordance means seeing educ as interactional.

Yes, An educational approach obsessed with knowledge(or long term memory) for measurement's sake misses the point entirely. "When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure" (Goodhart’s Law)

I am once again begging for better integration of institutional logins for literature searches and journal indexes. Putting my wish for Pubmed to be able to single click check my credentials and allow full text access into the universe!

New jobs, life changes, and a pandemic made turning this scholarly into a challenge, but we ultimately found a home for our project. It was an endeavor that allowed us to stay in touch after chief year and so fun to write up together. Hope our work can be helpful to others.

This mini chalk talk session from @bcmhouston provides a resource-efficient method of supporting students in transitioning to the role of resident educators as well as an opportunity to receive feedback on their teaching. ow.ly/OsQB50SppnO #MedEd

Taking on hard projects and having both excitement and anxieties about being outside your comfort zone is wild. Specifically the phenomenon where when you actually rip off the band-aid and actually do a bite sized, accomplishable task and are like, why didn't I do this earlier??
