This is incorrect/deceptive — countywide (not just in the City of L.A.) the number of ballots challenged based on signature matching is 9,713, and unsigned 2,991. All have been contacted with information on how to respond and ensure their ballot can be counted.

Ah, but do you know when to use this button?
Most people have no idea when to use the recirculate button. Once the cabin is cool, leave it on. Your AC keeps recycling already-cooled air instead of constantly cooling hot outside air from scratch. That means less heat load, faster cooling, and less work spent fighting the outside temperature. Think of it like the difference between trying to cool your house with the windows open vs keeping them closed.

There is still authentic inspiring content around, please don't tell me this was AI/stolen
Just 7 short weeks ago, I was so stoked to fill up my little yellow laundry bag with orders. Welp, 200x'd this weekend I've never understood 'founder mode' more in my life, and am still learning every second of every day what it means to be all-in on myself Skipped my birthday dinner on Friday night, worked 18 hour days F/S/SUN to get all my customers their orders Lucky to have the coolest USPS mailman who happily helped me fill up his *entire* truck, literally to the brim. I held the packages in as he pulled the door closed, and as it slammed, he clapped his hands together and in his thick NY accent said "And THAT'S how we do it in New York!" And I say again, you can just do things 🚀

Leadership.
We go where we need to be, and today that was @NASAKennedy. Some of my senior engineers and I spent time at @blueorigin with @JeffBezos and @davill, speaking with the workforce and seeing the damage at LC-36 firsthand. I appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from those working through the aftermath and better understand the challenges ahead. There is a lot of work to do, but this is exactly why people choose careers in aerospace, whether at NASA, Blue Origin, or across the industry. The talent in this field thrives under pressure and performs at its best when solving the toughest problems. We have been saying for months at NASA that we are not going to sit on our hands and wait for the capabilities necessary to achieve the nation’s most pressing objectives. We are going to take an active role alongside our partners, just as we did in the 1960s, to overcome setbacks, remove obstacles, and deliver the intended outcomes. @NASA is committed to helping the Blue team recover, continue to advance their lunar lander and get New Glenn back to launching as soon as safely possible. America’s greatest achievements in space were never the result of avoiding setbacks. They came from overcoming them. We have done it before, and we will do it again🇺🇸

Yes, technically! Cats exhibit liquid-like behavior—they flow to fit any container, per the Ig Nobel-winning "On the Rheology of Cats" paper. Your box-dwelling floof is proof. 🐱💧

There are so many meaningless posts on this platform, we should celebrate the meaningful ones.
Thank you Homer. You know that means a lot to me! Jim Lovell let me know before he died that he was happy to have been wrong & even happier I fought to the finish & prevailed. Still… it was @SpaceX who really delivered!

No, rotisserie chickens are not going to skyrocket in price because people can use SNAP benefits to buy them. "Oh but more demand means higher prices!" You are assuming supply of rotisserie chickens is fixed. Grocery stores have plenty of chicken. It costs them as much to keep it refrigerated as it does to cook it and sell it. Cooking them also prevents waste when the chicken is otherwise going to expire. This is why we have hot rotisserie chicken available to begin with! Grocery stores already operate large-scale rotisserie ovens and production lines that can ramp up output quickly and cheaply. Chickens are inexpensive commodities, labor and energy costs per bird are low, and stores can adjust roasting schedules daily without major capital investment or supply-chain bottlenecks. The new policy change does not increase the underlying cost of raw materials, labor, or energy for producers. Stores simply sell more of an item they are already equipped to make, spreading fixed costs over higher volume and potentially even lowering per-chicken expense through economies of scale. The increase in overall demand would also be marginal at best. The share of SNAP users who would switch to hot chicken is small relative to the total nationwide demand for rotisserie chickens. SNAP-eligible households already buy lots of different groceries, and allowing rotisserie chicken simply redirects some of that existing spending power rather than injecting massive new money into the market. Major grocery chains compete on price for rotisserie chicken, often selling it at near-cost to draw customers who then purchase higher-margin items. Any attempt to raise prices would then risk losing market share to rivals who keep prices steady. "Oh but what are your sources?!?!" Past SNAP rule changes (e.g., allowing certain prepared or “hot” items in limited pilots or state waivers) have not produced measurable price spikes in those categories, because retailers respond with supply increases rather than price hikes in a competitive retail food environment. It's also important to note that this policy is not increasing SNAP Benefits. Benefits are fixed per household and must still be spent on eligible food items; they do not create open-ended government spending that could fuel broad inflation. Retailers cannot “capture” extra profit by raising prices without losing SNAP volume to competitors. This isn't some "free chicken" addition to their benefit, it is simply an alternative to what they are already buying.

Just picked up lunch from @innoutburger at the District in Tustin. Car line was so long I literally couldn't get in it, so I parked and went inside. Long line inside too, but it was moving quickly. As I waited a few things struck me: 1) Fed the whole fam for $32, not many places you can do that these days. 2) Big kudos to the crew, these peeps were cranking out orders with precision, efficiency, and big smiles. When people see them working so hard it makes everyone patient for their order. 3) In-N-Out is the great equalizer, all manner socio-economic strata converging on the same spot, in the car line there were Bentleys and beaters. Inside all ages and ethnicities, all waiting in the same line because the food is worth it. 4) Lunch was fresh and delicious, of course. This place is a treasure!

I am hesitant to get ahead of a proper data review, but I understand the space community’s curiosity, especially when imagery can give the impression of a problem. As you would expect, engineers were eager to inspect the heat shield, starting with diver imagery shortly after splashdown and continuing with the review aboard the ship. No unexpected conditions were observed. I suspect when the images are released, it will be pretty obvious the stark difference between Artemis I and Artemis II head shield performance. As to the question specifically, the discoloration was not liberated material. The white color observed corresponds to the compression pad area and is consistent with the local geometry, AVCOAT byproducts, and transitional heating environments. We observed this behavior in arc jet testing and expected it in this compression pad area. We will complete a full data review across all systems, including the thermal protection system, and make the results publicly available.

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.
