Just want to clarity that im talking about people who engage with furry almost exclusively through social media. I would hate to see furry devolve into just creating and consuming media (including art). The thing that makes furry special is that we create a community out of it.

Instead I see post after post of clear engagement bait, insults, and general negative sentiments (from furries and normal accounts). It's clear this platform prioritizes these types of things and it's tiresome.

Overall, I'm fine with twitter being a platform where content like this is expected but that means I have very little interest in sharing my personal life on it. I am posting my personal art here because I am somewhat proud of it and I want to share it with the fandom I love.
