I’ve looked up to my Dad so much through the years - He has taught me everything about sports and more importantly how Faith, Family, and business should always be in that order. I was really uncertain of what my life would hold outside of basketball after I privately told my family this last fall I was going to retire from the game, something that I spent my whole life dedicating towards, a sport that took me so many places, and taught me more life lessons that I ever could’ve imagined. As I write this post in Hawaii, our favorite place as a family that holds so many profound memories, I’m so incredibly grateful for the path God has carved out for me. I never understood every single twist or turn, action, decision, or adversity at the time that has ever been thrown into my life. But, I knew at some point they are all always going to have a deeper meaning in the end to gravitate me to where I need to go. Hearing my Dad talk to the company today further solidified myself that where I’m planting my flag here with Primerica & Bohannon Financial is right and it’s where I want to be for the rest of my life. I saw the life my parents created for us 4 Bohannon boys and BEING THERE for us every step of the way while we were growing up, whether we liked it or not. That’s something worth copying. Our Dad created a business the last 42 years that has left a legacy for us, but more importantly created legacies for so many families where he has helped them do the right thing 100% of the time. Thank you Dad for showing me that there is so much more to life than having success by making money, rather you’re only truly successful when you’re full of other people’s success. I aspire to continue to chase the same dreams and goals you have had in life outside of sports!

There's an Iowa section behind the bench that is now counting the amount of seconds that Tomislav Ivisic is spending in the lane. They got to 11 seconds on the last count.

In 1999, JR Koch played for an @IowaHoops team that went to the Sweet 16. Iowa hadn’t been back to a Sweet 16 until tonight… With JR’s son, Cooper, hitting 4 3s to beat the national champs. March.
