It’s all relative. Professionals train and condition to perform at that level. Just because the level is higher, doesn’t mean the output is different.
If someone runs 100m in 20 seconds (at their fastest) and someone does it at 10 seconds, the output is the same no?
This is just a hunch, and I could well be wrong, but I reckon the intensity levels when Mark plays 5-a-side midweek with his mates might not be quite the same as when Virgil van Dijk plays for Liverpool and the Netherlands
