Almost to the end of #sno22 what a great meeting! It has been amazing to see so many talks on #dmg#dipg with molecular, preclinical and clinical trial data being shared. Encouraging to see the community coming together to try and tackle this awful disease. Hope on the horizon.
At #sno22 check out @LilyKeane poster tonighy #TMIC74 examining novel ways of thereuptically reprogramming microglia in the context of diffuse midline glioma, H3K27M #dipg#dmg
Interested in #Autophagy check out this extremely interesting review on how autophagy can be regulated by RNA alternative splicing from @PatriciaGR25 RTs are welcome! rdcu.be/cNPc9
Discovery of a new Arg1 microglia subtype with critical function in cognition! Our multinational effort lead by the one and only @StratouliasV is now available as a preprint. Exciting times! biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
So happy and thankful to @barncancerfond for awarding me a postdoctoral fellowship to work on therapeutically targeting #microglia in #DIPG#DMG and to @B_Joseph_KI for his amazing mentorship.

Are you interested in autophagy and epigenetics? Then come and join our team! We are looking for a talented PostDoc to work on the control of autophagy through various isoforms of the autophagy core machinery in the context of disease. ki.varbi.com/se/what:job/job…
#Postdoc position available in our lab! We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher to join us on the endeavour to decipher glioma-induced reprogramming of microglia. ki.varbi.com/se/what:job/job…
Determination and endurance do pay off! 💪🏻 Great effort over 2 moves! Check out the latest research from @LilyKeane on the involvement of mTOR in microglial ageing!
Dear all microglia lovers. Myself and Professor Guy C Brown at University of Cambridge have organised a European #seminar series for #microglia (with a cheeky look at astrocytes and neurones too). Please message me or reply to this comment if you're interested in attending.
