EVA Air Half Marathon π₯πΉπΌ
A great morning in Taipei, very hard conditions with around 28C and 90% humidity but held it together for a podium finish.
Thanks @EVAAirUK and @TourTaiwanTTAUK for the opportunity! Hope I can come back next year to challenge for the win!

Finally back racing, not as fast as I wanted, the first one was always going to be tough after 8 months of injury, setbacks and doubts. Crossed the line in 29:49, it's a start and I know I'll only get faster from here! Cobwebs blown away, already looking forward to the next one!

So it turns out my bad quad was a stress reaction in my femur. Under the circumstances I'm happy I could finish. Was due some rest post marathon anyway, now I get a couple of extra weeks before getting back on it and hopefully finishing the year strongly. Thanks for the support!

A tough day at the office but still an amazing experience to race at another world championship and place 49th.

An untimely quad/leg injury a couple of weeks almost ended my race before it started but thanks to Laura and Sarah (physios) and the docs, I was able to race and finish. Now I'll take some rest and time to heal properly before getting back on it ππ»ββοΈ
