Adapted for young readers from his adult memoir, this is the the hilariousĀ true story about Josh Sundquist's battle with childhood cancer and how he worked his way to making the United States paralympic ski team.
Just finished @JoshSundquist new book: Semi-Famous. Highly recommended. This is one of many weird aspects of internet fame. Buying it for a senior in HS semi-famous Instagramer. #Shitshownavigation
Unfortunately my publisher didnāt have space for @hankgreen's entire email on the back of the book, so I'm sharing it here š

Josh,
This book is so good! Itās full of insight and laugh out loud moments and I have learned a ton from it (which, as a person who thinks about this stuff professionally, is almost embarrassing! I should know these things!) I think that it should be taught in every high school in America. Hereās a thing you can put on the back cover if you want!
Fame is changing. Because of the revolutions of social media, fame isnāt just for famous people anymore. We need to be having intelligent, thoughtful, deep discussions about it, and āSemi Famousā is exactly that. Except, also it is fun and irreverent and laugh-out-loud funny. This is the textbook of the class on fame that everyone should be taking in our bizarre new world.
Hank
P.S. What if you just put this whole email on the back of the book?

Sitting in a chair increases my phantom pain. So thanks to @AVLT_Global for sending me this electric standing desk...where I can write future books (and TV shows!)

Follow @JoshSundquist to the fringes of viral stardom in Semi-Famous. He explores if it's possible to be both very famous and very happy in this must-listen. apple.co/JulyMustListens
Iāve made some very cringe attempts to get famous.
I once flirtedārather unsuccessfullyāwith Mandy Moore. I ate melty chocolate off the street for a fitness contest. I was escorted by security out of an AGT audition.
It's all in my new book Semi-Famous: lbyr.com/titles/josh-sundquiā¦
I can't imagine a more amazing person to play a younger version of me in #BestFootForward. Logan Marmino had never acted before, but I think youāll agree he is spectacular in this new family comedy.
Now streaming on @AppleTVPlus. Episode 1 is free: apple.co/bestfootforward
