The level of pure, unadulterated brain rot required to believe data centers are being built to "enslave humanity" is genuinely impressive. Let’s inject some actual reality into the fear mongering echo chamber.
Here is the truth no (likely paid) influencer is going to tell you: Data centers are quite literally the only thing keeping your entire digital life OUT of the hands of the state.
Think about it. If private data centers didn’t exist, who do you think would build, run, and control the servers powering the internet? The government. Every app, every private message, every piece of banking data, and your entire digital infrastructure would be completely nationalized. The state would own 100% of the architecture. You want a real dystopian surveillance state? Because that is exactly how you get one.
But these feminine freakout artists would rather stare at a building with cooling fans and panic about "the matrix" instead of looking at the actual math.
Look at the global landscape right now:
-Out of the thousands of operational data centers globally, government and sovereign cloud facilities make up a measly 4% to 6% of the market.
-The other 94% is entirely private sector investment driven by colocation providers, enterprise setups, and private tech companies spending hundreds of billions of dollars to handle consumer demand.
When a private company builds a data center, they are building a commercial fortress to store your data, your programs, and your applications under private corporate privacy policies and legal boundaries. It forces the state to have to use warrants, subpoenas, and legal battles just to get a glimpse of it.
Every single private data center you see being built isn't a monument to your enslavement, it is physically keeping the digital infrastructure out of a centralized government monopoly. Stop letting scientifically illiterate grifters scare you into fighting against the very infrastructure protecting your digital independence.
