Genesis 10 is called the Table of Nations. It traces the descendants of Noah's three sons across the known world after the flood. Shem, Ham, and Japheth populated three continents. Every nation mentioned in the rest of Scripture traces its origin back to this chapter.
The Sea of Galilee forms the backdrop for much of the Gospel narrative. Many key towns of Jesus’ ministry sat along its shores, including Capernaum, Bethsaida, and Magdala. In this small region Jesus taught, performed miracles, and called His first disciples.
