82 years ago today, on June 6, 1944, thousands of brave young Americans stormed the beaches of Normandy into unimaginable danger.
They left behind families, homes, and futures to answer the call of duty. Many never returned. They gave their last full measure so that freedom could endure.
Today we pause to remember the courage, faith, and sacrifice of those heroes and the entire Greatest Generation. Their bravery in the face of tyranny still inspires us all these years later.
As a proud American and follower of Christ, I honor their memory and give thanks to God for the lives they protected and the legacy they left behind. May we never forget what they endured on those beaches, and may their example strengthen our own resolve to live with purpose and gratitude.
May God bless the souls of those who fell on D-Day, comfort their families, and grant us the same courage they showed.
