I’ve only had my @framer expert profile up and active for about 2 weeks so far, and I’ve already been contacted 4 times.
I didn't expect the leads to be so rapid with me being a freshly added expert, but somehow it's working. 📈

Spun yesterday's landing page challenge ticker into a standalone component.
The 3D Perspective Ring Carousel is now completely optimized and ready for the marketplace queue.
Hopefully the massive update that @Framer is about to drop makes building complex spatial layouts even easier and more fluid than it already is.

Here's my recreation. I decided to make a full page instead of just the hero section. Also Instead of the cards flipping on hover, I made them flip on click.
Better UX imo.

Rebuilding from the vault.
Took the Dot Map from last year's @contra challenge and gave it a massive feature and UX overhaul for the @framer marketplace.
What's new:
• Smooth canvas zooming & panning
• Dynamic localized time calculations
• Contextual image/video popovers
• Custom cursor effects

Just received my first official client inquiry through the @framer Expert program a only few days after making my expert profile available.
It’s incredibly validating to see inbound leads start moving the needle, especially for projects that align with the exact type of creative and interactive layout systems I love building.
Massive shoutout to the Framer team for building such a great ecosystem for independent designers/developers.

Now that my expert @contra profile is set up, I had to add a sleek CTA to my portfolio.
Recreated their logo in 3D using @splinetool, then brought it into @framer for the entrance unmasking effect and hover animation polish.
What's the point of design if we don't have fun doing it?

Live edits on client calls are a trap.
A few times I thought I was being helpful by making design changes live during a review call. Sometimes it worked, but one time a client had me making single-pixel readjustments for nearly a full hour.
Another time, the client gradually pushed the changes completely out of the original scope.
Get your clients to consolidate ALL feedback into a document before the review call. Save both of you the time and the migraine.
