Earlier today in San Antonio, I was elected by commissioners from all 50 states and U. S. territories to serve as President of our national association of Public Service Commissioners (@NARUC ). I sincerely thank my sister, @GretaPresley for being there today!

Today, I proposed, and the Public Service Commission unanimously passed, a resolution for our agency to recognize every April as “Utility Worker Appreciation Month” to highlight the hard, dangerous work of all women and men who power our lives keep all utility services available.

It's clear that the US is losing the #connectivity race. Why? B/c of rules in certain states that prohibit utilities from providing such services. If we’re in it to win it (& we have to be) we must empower #utilities to provide #broadband. Read more here: utc.org/the-big-picture-part…
